Order Information

Due to unforeseen circumstances related to the Covid 19 pandemic, we are experiencing delays with final delivery in some areas outside of Canada. Please allow an additional 5-10 business days from the time of your original estimated arrival date for final delivery.

Most approved orders are shipped within two business day, unless otherwise noted or in the exceptions below. If your order is approved after 1PM EST Monday through Friday, on Saturday and Sunday, or during government and select religious holidays, your order will be processed the next business day. The time it takes to receive your package varies depending on the shipping method you choose and your location. If you order on Saturday or Sunday, your package should be processed on the following Monday.

Restrictions that apply to standard shipping are listed below:

  • Most of our shipments require a physical address as they are delivered by Canada Post and its partners
  • Some rural route addresses are excluded from our expedited shipping (carriers charge extra fees for remote locations). In these cases, the customer will be notified if your address is excluded in the expedited services.
  • Inclement weather, operational/mechanical failures by the delivery service, and other unpreventable delays out of the control of Instant Autographs, these conditions are not the responsibility of Instant Autographs.
  • Orders are approved once payment has been received and all shipping and billing information has been verified. This process is usually automatic, but under extenuating circumstances may take up to three business days. We have the right to cancel any order at its discretion. 

Shipping Policy

How Will My Order Ship? /Shipping Methods

We use a variety of trusted carriers in order to ensure products ship quickly and safely. These include:

  • Canada Post- used most often and preferred. If you input a PO Box address, please have alternate method and a physical address available in case the package can only be delivered via to a physical address and phone number to contact you please.
  • Each item that is purchased requires a specific processing time before your order can ship from our facility. The processing time may be different for each item. Transit time begins once the order has completed this processing time and has shipped from our facility. Delivery expectation also varies based on the shipping method you choose at checkout.

Depending on the item(s) you purchase and the address these items are being shipped to, different shipping methods will be available at the final step of checkout. Each shipping method has its own restrictions and charges that will be applied to your order. All shipping methods for the Canada and the United States are trackable to the destination address.

Please note: Standard Ground shipping is 5-10 business days in North America. Please note expedited shipping does not speed up processing times.

Shipping prices are determined at checkout by the shipping location, the shipping method selected at checkout, as well as the weight of item(s) ordered.

Multiple Item Orders:

To ensure quickest delivery, your order will ship from our logistics warehouse within 24 hours of your order during normal business days. In some instances, you may receive multiple packages if your order included more than one item.

Shipping to an address other than billing address:

If the customer chooses to ship to an address that is not the billing address, the customer agrees that delivery confirmation without signature is sufficient to prove the item was indeed delivered to the recipient.

Signature Required Deliveries:

Most orders above $ 500.00 will require a signature upon delivery. Please, be aware you may need to sign for your package(s) when they arrive.

Shipping to a hotel:

We realize some customers may need to ship their item to a hotel. Shipments cannot always be guaranteed on a specific date, so please take the appropriate measures to ensure your delivery to a hotel is possible. Once the item is shipped, the customer must accept responsibility to then receive the package from the hotel. If the customer has left the hotel and cannot receive the item, they must make arrangements with the hotel to receive the item. We will not assume any responsibility after the package is signed for at the hotel; any shipping expense thereafter will be the sole responsibility of the receiver.

Shipping address key-in error and receiver unavailable:

If an address is entered wrong at checkout, or the receiver misses 3 delivery attempts by the shipping company and the product is returned to our warehouse, the shipping charge will be assumed by the customer for reshipping (any promotional shipping charges do not apply towards reshipping). This payment must be made before an item is reshipped. If the address is entered without the correct apartment or suite number needed to deliver the package, or the customer requests a different delivery address post-shipment; a delivery intercept fee may need to be paid (this is a policy of our shipper and we cannot assume extra shipping charges for an incomplete address).

 

 

Need to cancel/ modify/return your order?

 

Since each of our products are customized and personalized it is very difficult to cancel, modify or return your order. Once we receive your order, it is sent immediately to our logistics provider for processing and printing. Therefore, if you need to cancel your order for any reason, please contact us as soon as you can. Items vary in length of time needed for processing so we cannot guarantee that you will be able to cancel it.

 

Order Invoice

You should receive an email receipt confirmation within 24 hours of placing your order.

 

 

Order Cancellation Reasons

We will be unable to fulfill your order/item if one of the following scenarios takes place:

  • Order Verification
    • We are unable to verify your billing/payment information

  

  • Customized Requirements
    • The merchandise purchased is in violation of one of the following requirements:
      • Licensing Restrictions
      • No slang, phrases or profanity will be accepted

When we are unable to process an order, we will automatically cancel and refund your item. You will receive an email confirmation notifying you of this change. Once the refund is processed it can take up to 2-7 business days for this to reflect on your account statement.

 

Lost Package

If you do not receive your package in 15 business days please contact us at mvh@instantautographs.com so we can trace the package. If you are reporting a lost package, please ensure the following steps are taken prior to contacting customer service.

Check the immediate area; including any mailbox, garage, porch, front desk, leasing office, neighbor, or anyone that may have signed for or picked up the package for you.

Please Note:

  • When placing an order using your PayPal account, the address your order ships to is based on the authorized information listed on your PayPal account
  • If you need to ship to an address that is not an approved address within your PayPal account, you will need to update your PayPal account prior to placing your order on our site
  • If not, after your order processes, your address will default to whatever is listed on your PayPal account

Important information about payment

To better your experience and ensure you feel confident in our already secure checkout process, we require the following:

Order/Sales Taxes

 

Order Taxes

Sales tax/HST is charged for orders shipped within Canada where we have a business presence and/or we have determined sales taxes are applicable.

The amount of sales or other value added tax charged is based on your country’s current tax regulations.  Currently, no sales tax will be charged for items shipped outside of Canada. The amount appearing on your order is an Estimated Tax and may differ from the sales taxes ultimately charged. Shipping charges may also be subject to tax in certain jurisdictions. State and local tax rates are subject to change at any time. Gift Card purchases are not taxable, however, items paid for with Gift Cards will be taxed if shipped to an address where we collect sales tax.

 

Security & Safe Shopping

PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential info in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Before you even register or log in to the PayPal site, our server checks that you're using an approved browser one that uses SSL 3.0 or higher.

Additional Information:

  • Shipment Times and Guarantees- Please, note the processing time on your item, and consider that in addition to
    your chosen delivery method.  No shipment is guaranteed to arrive by any given date unless there is a promotional
    shipping guarantee at the time of your order.  An order received later than the desired date because processing time
    was ignored is not eligible for a refund.
  • Errors- Fees incurred to us because of address key-in errors by the customer will be charged to the customer.
    Product omissions and errors from us must be reported within 10 days of order placement. Many of our systems
    are automated by system.  If the customer receives more items than paid for, (i.e. customer paid for 1
    photo and receives 2), the customer must contact us immediately to request a prepaid carrier pickup of
    item(s). We reserve the right to take legal action to reclaim property against any party uncooperative and refusing to
    return property which has no receipt records of payment.
  • Gift Certificates - Gift certificates are non-refundable purchases.  Certificates can either be mailed or emailed.
